What Window Cleaning method do you use?
We use the Water Fed Pole Technique. This involves the use of telescopic poles, a soft brush and 100% purified water which has been filtered through a three stage filtration process. The pure water is then left on the windows to dry naturally without leaving any streaks or watermarks. Due to the “Working At Height Regulations 2005” we do not use ladders when cleaning your windows. Our employees feet are always firmly on the ground.
Why use Pure Water?
Purified water contains zero residue and zero chemical solids this means any water left on your windows will dry spotless and clean. Pure water eliminates the need for harsh cleaning chemicals which can leave smears and streaks to build up on your glass.
Can you clean windows in the rain? Will it effect the overall clean?
Yes we can clean your windows in light to moderate rain and it will not effect your clean. Rain water is almost pure so won’t effect the cleaning process at all, your windows will still dry spotless and we can still remove dirt and debris. However heavy rain and winds may keep us from cleaning but we will always reschedule.
How often do you call?
We operate on a 4, 6 and 12 weekly round.
My gate is locked can you gain access?
We will usually contact customers the evening before we are due to clean via text message. This will allow you to leave gates open or provide access, we also have a specialised ladder for climbing over low gates. If we can’t gain access on the day we will deduct the price of the clean on your invoice accordingly.
Do you clean windows, sills & Frames? e Yes our service includes the cleaning of all windows, sills, frames and doors.
Do you have liability insurance? We have full public liability insurance of up to £2,000,000 provided by Gleaming Insurance Services LLP.
You didnt clean my conservatory roof? Conservatory roofs are not included on regular window cleaning, these are priced individually. Please contact us if you require this service.
How do I pay? We will provide you with a calling card/invoice on the day of cleaning. You can either pay online via Go Cardless, BACS Bank Transfer, or Cash. Please use your line of address, street & postcode as payment reference. You may also pay the operator by cash or cheque on the day.
Please note all cash and cheque payments must be made on the same day we do not provide a collection service at a later date.

Are your Housekeepers Vetted?
Yes All housekeepers are thoroughly vetted and screened before being accepted by us.
Our vetting process includes:
– English speaking interview
– 2 references (at least 1 years work experience within the cleaning industry or Equivalent NVQ in cleaning and support skills.)
– proof of address
– eligibility to work in the UK
– next of kin details
Staff are continually monitored for reliability and performance, to ensure that Multi-Cleans high standards are met.
Can I meet my housekeeper before they start working for me?
Yes – when you use Multi-Cleans interior services, we will introduce you to a housekeeper that will best meet your needs and requirements. Your housekeeper will visit you personally and allow you to meet and ask them any questions that you may have, and show them around your property.
Will I have the same housekeeper each week?
Yes – once you accept your housekeeper, they will be your personal housekeeper.
What happens if my housekeeper is on holiday or ill?
Alternative housekeepers are available if your personal housekeeper is temporarily unavailable.
Who provides the housekeeping products (cleaning materials, etc)?
We provide our customers with cleaning equipment and supplies, this is all inclusive of our hourly rate, saving you money and time. We always use high quality and safe cleaning products.
Do I give my housekeeper a set of door keys?
It is completely your decision whether you hand a set of door keys to your housekeeper. We are confident that our housekeepers are trustworthy due to our thorough vetting process and loss of keys is covered by our Insurer. Allowing your housekeeper a set of keys means that you are able to carry on with your day whilst your home is being prepared for you.
How much will a housekeeper cost?
The total cost to the customer for a regular weekly service is from £14.00 per hour. This is made up of an hourly fee which is paid in cash directly to the housekeeper, on the day of the housekeeping service. This price includes the work carried out and the Management Fee. The Management Fee covers our costs of vetting the housekeepers, our insurance, a license to have a housekeeper for the required number of hours, temporary housekeeper cover if required (if your personal housekeeper is on holiday or ill) ect.
Are the housekeepers covered by insurance?
Yes – Housekeepers are covered for damage to property or contents whilst they are working in your home. We are insured through Hiscox and a copy of our insurance document can be emailed to you by request for your peace of mind.
